Villa Corsaro

A low villa set into a south-facing slope above a private cove, drawn around a long reflecting pool. The house turns its back on the road and opens entirely toward the water. The roof is shallow, the eaves deep; the rooms stay cool through the afternoon.

The principal floor reads as a single room — kitchen, dining, sitting — divided only by changes in level and material. A walled garden sits at the centre of the plan, planted with figs and olives. Each bedroom occupies its own corner of the upper floor, with a quiet writing alcove and an outdoor shower.

The estate includes a cabana at the water's edge, a covered moor, and staff quarters detached from the main house. Suited to long stays through summer; available for private viewing on appointment only.
