Casa Marina

A finca on the leeward side of the island, walled in golden marés and shaded by old algarrobos. The house holds itself low against the land. Rooms are small and many, in the Mallorcan tradition; the spaces between rooms — covered terraces, courtyards, loggias — do most of the work.

Two principal wings sit at right angles around an inner courtyard with a single central pool. Bedrooms are deliberately quiet; the kitchen and dining rooms gather around a wide arched hearth. A library and a small chapel occupy the older portion of the house.

The estate runs to a private grove of forty-year-old olive trees and an arrival approach lined with cypress. Service quarters and a separate guest cottage sit out of sight of the main house. Offered with the inventory of original furnishings on request.
