Al Barari Courtyard

A courtyard villa set deep inside the gardens of the estate, planted in fig, mango, and frangipani. The house is shielded entirely by greenery; from the road there is no visible building, only the pale wall and a single shaded gate.
The plan is organised around an open-air majlis at the centre of the house, with shallow water and a fixed bench cut into the floor. Reception rooms and the kitchen open onto the courtyard from one side; bedroom suites face outward into the garden, each with private terrace and shaded loggia. Materials are limewash, oak, and rough-sawn travertine.
The grounds run to a small swimming pavilion and a shaded outdoor dining table beneath a forty-year-old ficus. The estate's services and gardens extend to the property line. Available unfurnished or with a curated set of furnishings; private viewings on appointment only.
